This month's theme is RE-CYCLING.  Make a fresh start to the year by cutting down on what you throw away and try to put 'waste' material to good use.  Here are some ideas for re-cycling: Keep old Christmas cards to use as gift tags next year Take cans and bottles to the local bottle bank Invest in a battery re-charger and save on waste batteries Compost vegetable peelings and use in the garden Take any unwanted clothes to a local charity shop Re-use carrier bags for shopping and plastic containers for storage Try using re-cycled toilet rolls or bin liners instead of regular brands
