Teachers as Artists
Public art created by teachers
Teachers working alongside a professional artist
The 'Teachers as Public Artists' initiative provided a unique experience for 11 teachers.  The project enabled them to work with professional artist Claire Whitcomb to design and make pieces of public art using mosaics, casting or simple metal work

The art works were installed in Birmingham Botanical Gardens as a permanent trail of public art.
