Birmingham hosts the 2005 Anti-bullying Summit

On Friday 2nd December, Birmingham City Council hosted an Anti-bullying Summit at the Council House.

Invited by Cllr Les Lawrence, Cabinet Member for Education & Lifelong Learning and Tony Howell, Strategic Director for Learning and Culture, around 60 young people and 60 adults (including councillors and youth professionals) attended. They took part in round table discussions to help further develop the City’s Anti-bullying Policy and to re-launch the Together We Can STOP Bullying campaign.
