SHOULD stop bullying by:

1. Listening to victims and bullies, finding out why bullies bully (surveys/research)

3. Acting – tackling bullying - taking responsibility

  • Co-ordinating all action on bullying – work as a team – across agencies
  • Making schools & organisations tackle bullying – not be in denial
  • Take appropriate action with bullies and parents

4. Embed anti-bullying strategies/policies in all organisations and make them known to everyone

5. Providing and targeting funding and resources

6. Having more anti-bullying projects for young people

  • Better help and support for victims and their families
  • Working with the bullies
  • Having trained mediators
  • Encouraging young people to speak out

7. Raising awareness
