Anti-bullying books, videos and other resources

There are many books and resources to help understand and deal with bullying.  This page provides links to web sites which provide those which have proved the most useful.  Click here for help with viewing or saving documents.

Stop Bullying!  A booklist for children and young People
Booklist compiled by Birmingham Libraries.  All the listed picture books, story books and novels have characters who have to deal with bullying.  There are also some non-fiction books with suggestions about what you can do to stop bullying.

Resources for young people, parents and carers
Helplines, web links, books and booklets for young people and parents, compiled by Birmingham Education Welfare Service.  The resources surround the problem that when a child is experiencing bullying it can affect the whole family.

Stop the Bullying
BGfL fully illustrated online activity designed to give advice on how to deal with bullying, offering some solutions.  The activity presents a range of scenarios set in the playground, classroom and on the way to school, with multiple choice responses.
