Training and development activities have an important part to play in promoting equality of opportunity, eliminating discrimination and valuing diversity:

• All STEP Trainers and Associate Trainers work to a laid down standard.
  
  
• Course participants will receive guidance notes in advance of any course, to help them to participate fully in the programme.
  
  
• Training on specific equalities issues can be made available on request.
