On Thursday 12th February 2004 the Impulse Support Network held their first meeting.  The meeting was held at the Martineau Centre, Birmingham and was hosted by Birmingham City Council in conjunction with Lancashire County Council. The meetng was well attended with representatives from 10 of the 14 Councils invited.
