This is an enhanced service undertaking the financial administrative functions for schools enabling schools to fulfil the management responsibilities of a delegated budget. 

The service is designed to provide schools with the assurance of effective financial management and to support head teachers and governors with the ever increasing financial challenges which they face.

This service is normally purchased on either a weekly or fortnightly basis although alternative visit arrangements can be agreed.

 The key features of the service include:

• The production of timely financial management reports to enable schools to make informed budget management decisions and to maximise the use of resources
   

• The production of medium term strategic financial forecasts to aid with financial planning in compliance with Internal Audit and OFSTED requirements
   
• Regular meetings with the head teacher and financial administrator or bursar
   
• The maintenance of the Schools Management Information System (SIMS/CMIS) including the schools personnel module, processing of reconciliation files and suspense file clearance
   
• Processing invoices for payment is an optional service and will be reflected in the price
   
• Attendance at governing body finance committee meetings, if required
   
• Provision of annual financial information to parents, if required.
