One of the areas listed for new services is a Budget Management Training Programme (BMT).

A very successful training course for head teachers, deputies, bursars and other school based staff, with consistently excellent feedback from course participants.  The course is delivered over 2 days and includes an introduction to the Fair Funding Scheme and School Funding arrangements, budget planning processes with an opportunity to put together a budget plan and strategic budget management and monitoring with an overview of the role of the Finance Committee of the Governing Body and a session on the regulatory framework for the City Council.
