School Plus Advertising

The Schools Plus Adverts Team provide a one-stop service to schools wishing to advertise teaching or support staff vacancies.  The service is available during term time and during school holidays.

We can arrange for advertisements to be placed in any publication specified, including the Weekly Teaching and Support Staff Bulletins, The Forward, The Times Education Supplement (TES) and a wide range of local and national publications.  Adverts are placed via an Advertising Agency that offers up to 13% discount on local and national advertisements.  We will always provide costs and proofs (where applicable) prior to publication.

For deadline dates please contact us directly or for The Forward and Weekly Teaching and Support Staff Bulletins the latest deadline dates can be found at eBriefing.  A rough guide would be to get the advertisement to us at least a week before the publication date.

Post Box Service

The Post Box Service allows schools to advertise without the worry of dealing with application requests and sending out packs to prospective candidates.  The service is particularly useful to save valuable administration and support staff being diverted from their regular tasks, to deal with potential high volume requests and also if you wish to advertise during holiday periods.

All primary and special school advertisements should be emailed to PrimaryAdverts@birmingham.gov.uk

All secondary school advertisements to SecondaryAdverts@birmingham.gov.uk

For further information about any aspects of this service you can contact the team on 0121 464 2144/464 1932 or e-mail the addresses above.
