Schools Plus provides a professional recruitment service to schools and BCC Directorates.  The emphasis is to provide customers with a high quality service, which reflects value for money and contributes to raising achievement in schools. Services include:

• Teachers – Schools Plus registers NQTs and experienced supply teachers for positions in schools and offers administration and advice for the graduate teacher programme and overseas trained teachers.
  
  
• Senior Appointments – Schools Plus offers a confidential support service to governors and head teachers, offering administration, advice and guidance on all aspects of the selection process for senior appointments.
  
  
• Teaching Assistant Pool – Schools Plus registers level 2 and 3 Teaching Assistants for work in primary, secondary and special schools, on a casual or permanent basis.
  
  
• Clerical and Administration Staff – Citistaff, a team within Schools Plus has a register of experienced casual clerical, higher level admin and PAs to cover a variety of placements and scales within schools and BCC departments.
  
  
• CRB Service – Schools Plus is a registered body for undertaking CRB checks on all newly appointed staff as well as handling checks for external organisations that wish to register with the service.
  
  
• Recruitment Advertising and Post Box Service – Schools Plus Adverts team will advertise all teaching and non-teaching vacancies, prepare and distribute application packs as well as co-ordinate forms upon completion and return.
