Birmingham Pyramid Clubs
What do they offer?

Birmingham Pyramid Clubs offer the most socially and withdrawn children a short-term group experience promoting their self esteem and peer/adult relationships.

What happens at a Pyramid Club?

  • Led by 3 police-checked club leaders

  • Run for 10 weeks

  • Provide for up to 10 children

  • Circle Time

  • Therapeutic Environment

  • Games/Activities

  • One outing per club

  • Food preparation

How do I know it works?

  • The work of the National Pyramid Trust has been evaluated internally and by Surrey University and the Institute of Education.

  • Research has shown that Pyramid Clubs promote future attendance and improved academic performance.
