I should like to welcome you to the Learning Communities Network website.

Having taken over from Pratibha Hindocha, I am delighted to assume the position of Chair to the LCN. I take on this role at a time of great change and some very significant challenges to the development of learning communities. There is great strength in working together to face such challenges and I look forward to working with colleagues to do just that.

The LCN offers good value through the variety of approaches it takes. As well as the Seeing is Believing (SIB) events, subscribers receive the regular glossy newsletter and monthly electronic communications. Members can tap into the peer support offered by other members in the network, which is co-ordinated through the secretariat office.

I look forward to seeing you at one of our future events planned for the term ahead.
