Baseline Assessment Forms
The Baseline Assessment forms have been drawn
up with the help of a group of Birmingham
Educational Psychologists. They help to identify
Looked After Children who need extra support, to
enable them to achieve educationally. They also
help with monitoring the value added of additional
support and facilities provided. The assessment
should be commenced at the end of a pupil's second
month in care.
There are two Baseline Assessment forms, for:
- children under 8 years
- children over 8 years.
