Recognition that Birmingham is truly an international
city is reflected in the importance given to developing international links in the education service and schools.
A number of activities take place each year where teachers, head teachers, pupils, young people, adult learners and LEA officers travel to and from different countries to study and gain valuable experience in different aspects of education.
