Kids Swim 4 Free

Kids Swim 4 Free scheme

The Kids Swim 4 Free initiative entitles all children who attend Birmingham LEA Schools and who are over 4 and under 16 to swim for free in any of the City Council’s 17 pools, in out-of-school hours.

This initiative supports work schools are doing in relation to Healthy Schools, tackling childhood obesity and physical activity.  It also encourages children and young people to develop this life saving skill and to swim in a safe environment rather than risking their lives by swimming in open water.
