Teachers who are members of the Teachers’ Pensions Scheme can make Additional Voluntary Contributions (AVC’s) to a group facility administrated by Prudential. The AVC facility offers teachers the facility to pay AVC’s in order to provide an additional pension and/or improve death cover by purchasing additional life assurance. This is in addition to the facility within the Teachers’ Pensions Scheme to purchase added years. Click the link below for the latest information.
