Trading
Trading Task Group

Main tasks

  • To review the current practices, delegation models, trading and charging methods of delegated support services;

  • To consider a coherent strategy for trading, procurement and sharing of good practice;
  • To discuss proposals for offering services outside the City Council including collaboration with private providers;
  • To consider the implications of the Best Value Accounting Code of Practice (BVACOP) for trading services and delegation levels.

Agendas/Notes of Meetings

  • Responsibility of Chair/Secretary. Any agenda items to be notified to secretary at least one week prior to meeting.

  • Secretary to circulate notes of meetings within seven days and agendas will be sent out to arrive three days prior to the scheduled meeting.

Overall Framework

  • Report to the FFDG on any proposals to change the existing delegation arrangements.

  • Input into the production of relevant papers for members and consultation as appropriate.
