Main tasks

  • To consider the implications of including Nursery Schools within the Fair Funding framework;

  • To develop a funding formula for Nursery School within the national regulations;
  • To advise Nursery Schools on the implications of operating within a fully delegated environment;
  • To liaise with the Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership on relevant proposals.

Agendas/Notes of Meetings

  • Responsibility of Chair/Secretary. Any agenda items to be notified to secretary at least one week prior to meeting.

  • Secretary to circulate notes of meetings within seven days and agendas will be sent out to arrive three days prior to the scheduled meeting.

Overall Framework

  • Report to the FFDG on any proposals to change the existing delegation or centrally held arrangements.

  • Input into the production of relevant papers for members and consultation as appropriate.
