European Citizenship
Speak Out!
on European Citizenship is an internet based project
which invites students from across Europe to research,
discuss, and reflect on issues around European
Citizenship.
The Website is supported
by a teacher guide which includes background information
on European citizenship and some of the topical issues
for discussion.
Students who participate
in Speak Out! on European Citizenship are also
invited to send a message to European leaders, giving
their views on aspects of European citizenship. A
group of students will be identified and given the
opportunity to participate in a European student debate
in Strasbourg in Summer 2001.
