In December 2003 the IRT Steering Group decided to change IRT to ISA (Information Sharing and Assessment) to reflect the change in DfES.  The IRT Project would continue until March 2004 and the March 2004 deliverables would still be in place.  However, funding for the project would continue to August 2004 if Local authorities had not spent the total of their grant.

The ISA Steering Group agreed to continue the post of ISA Project Manager until August 2004.  An exit strategy would be proposed by the ISA Project Manager and approved by the ISA Steering Group, which would have to be agreed by the Children and Young People's Strategic Partnership in June 2004.
