MANAGEMENT OF PERSONAL, HEALTH AND MEDICAL CARE
Provision  
Curriculum The school curriculum provides an awareness of personal care and safety and, as necessary, allows for intermittent medical intervention to be managed by the student, according to their age, in a supervised situation.
Staffing All staff are aware of student’s individual medical and/or personal care needs and their implications / treatment. Advice is sought from appropriate agencies regarding medical and health and safety procedures.
Resources Healthcare resources and procedures readily available to students in supervised situations.
Environment
and Facilities
Designated and secure storage area for healthcare resources. Private, accessible areas which are available for routine medical procedures.
Assessment  
Is able to manage personal and/or health care with only age-appropriate supervision.
