INTERPERSONAL SKILLS with other students in the learning environment
Provision  
Curriculum Differentiation/adaptation linked to specific IBP/IEP targets for the development of appropriate inter-personal skills with other students. Elements of Pastoral Support Plan (PSP) may be incorporated into IEP.
Staffing Access to support/advice from external agencies. Staff responsive to environmental issues and able to provide interventions linked to IBP/IEP targets, consistent with guidance on use of PSPs.
Resources Support materials available to aid the development of appropriate inter-personal skills with other students.
Environment
and Facilities
Half-termly audit of learning environment. Targeted adaptations of approach, equipment or teaching materials, including IT to promote appropriate interpersonal skills with other students.
Assessment  
Displays some acceptable interpersonal skills with some students some of the time. Will participate effectively in a large group, for a limited time, with adult assistance. Is working to learn how to co-operate with another student. Shows care for other students for some of the time and is working to reduce verbal aggression.
