CURRICULUM PLANS
Provision  
Curriculum Curriculum plans in core subjects are used as a basis for more detailed IEPs.  IEPs incorporate suggestions and strategies from external services to be delivered mainly within whole class teaching.
Staffing Staff skilled at: planning IEPs and ensuring their delivery within whole class teaching; involving the student, parents / carers and external services in the planning of the IEP and in its review and liaising with other teachers of the student.
Resources Curriculum plans are written to promote access and provide a content and context for more detailed planning for the IEP. Staff may select knowledge, skills and understanding from an earlier key stage when appropriate.
Environment
and Facilities
Staff have access to banks of targets and strategies from which to produce IEPs. Flexible use of the teaching environment is planned to maximise the success of the IEP. Rehearsal and consolidation of the IEP targets planned across all subject areas.
Assessment  
Learns when an IEP describes specific targets which are additional to whole class curriculum planning.
