Meeting individual needs together
A half day seminar for Managers and Special Needs Co-ordinators
Target audience: This half-day seminar is for newly appointed SENCos and Managers. Teaching Assistants and other teachers who work with pupils with special educational needs may also find it valuable.
Aims:
- to explain the rationale behind the development of the CRISP approach to assessment, funding and the arrangements for provision of special educational needs
- to provide ‘hands on’ experience of the materials using case studies
- to find out how collaborative multi-agency working promotes inclusive education for children with learning difficulties.
Outcomes: As a result of participating, delegates will also be able to consider how your own school or nursery’s provision can contribute to your organisation’s development plan and influence staff development.
