Meeting individual needs together
A half day seminar for Managers and Special Needs Co-ordinators

Target audience: This half-day seminar is for newly appointed SENCos and Managers. Teaching Assistants and other teachers who work with pupils with special educational needs may also find it valuable.

Aims:

  • to explain the rationale behind the development of the CRISP approach to assessment, funding and the arrangements for provision of special educational needs

  • to provide ‘hands on’ experience of the materials using case studies

  • to find out how collaborative multi-agency working promotes inclusive education for children with learning difficulties.

Outcomes: As a result of participating, delegates will also be able to consider how your own school or nursery’s provision can contribute to your organisation’s development plan and influence staff development.
