Four specific activities
There are four task groups, each responsible for a specific activity:
- Services
Overseeing the work in the geographical areas and the signposting and identification processes.
- Children’s
Overseeing the involvement of children in the programme.
- Other Initiatives
Overseeing the links with other strategic initiatives in areas of the city other than the target areas.
- Evaluation
Overseeing the Programme’s review framework and
processes.
The Programme Management Team, employed by NCH and staff in other service provider organisations, together with the Birmingham Children’s Fund Partnership and its Steering Group, the Children’s Partnership and its Steering Group, will work to deliver the Programme.
Currently, 30 agencies are represented on the Partnership, which meets every 3 months, and 16 of the partners sit on the monthly Steering Group.
The programme aims to provide services in three main
strands:
- Target geographical areas
- To children whose needs place them in one of several themed groups
- Linked to other strategic initiatives appearing in the city, such as:
