Target Areas

Designated geographical areas

All children aged between 5 and 13 years who live in the Birmingham Children’s Fund designated geographical areas will be ‘screened’. If the risk factors they face outweigh their protective factors, they will be offered services to help them overcome the risk factors.

These services may be new services that have been commissioned by the Fund, to meet identified needs, or existing services. Project workers, employed by the Children’s Fund, will liaise with providers of existing services, to develop and enhance these, in order to meet the children’s needs.
