Building Schools for the Future
Local Education Partnership model

Following the publication of the Building Schools for the Future launch document in February 2003, Partnerships for Schools has drawn up a detailed description of the proposed delivery model for the programme, which is being widely circulated for comment and feedback from all stakeholders.

This is called the Local Education Partnership (LEP) model, and the papers available from this page contain, in overview and detail, an explanation of the rationale underpinning the model and the way in which it is proposed to work to deliver local BSF area programmes.
