Police launch Facebook application to help keep students safe
WEST Midlands Police has developed a unique web-based game as a new way to teach students how to stay safe at university.
Thousands of students are back at the region’s universities and Home Office statistics show that one in three of them could become a victim of crime at some point during their studies. West Midlands Police has been working with students from the region’s six universities, some higher education colleges and the West Midlands area NUS to look at new ways to get crime prevention messages across to students.
