86% of people in the West Midlands think rehabilitation is as important, or more important, than punishment when sentencing offenders.

A new poll shows the public think reforming offenders to cut re-offending is equally as important as punishment. The publication of the survey's results coincides with the launch of an innovative on-line programme in which members of the public can decide what they think is the most suitable sentence for virtual offenders ....
